Parents,

The Spelling list is a tough one this week. Be sure your child studies for this test!  Use the Spelling Pretest taken today to see what words your child needs to review.

Mrs. Lee has asked that students dress nicely for the school program tomorrow.

There will be a test this Friday over Topic 2: Addition, Subtraction and Money.  I sent home some extra papers that we won't be able to get to before the test with your child today.  It includes some math papers and some games that could be used for review.  It also have added a practice test on the Pearson site that can be done for review at home.

Parents,

We have just a little more than 1 week left in the first quarter.  This is an important time to look ahead at goals we have in place.  

By the end of 1st quarter, students are expected to:

• have passed addition and subtraction objectives in Math facts in a Flash
• reach 100% of AR point goal

Many students are doing terrific with their AR goals.  Many students are "on pace" to reach 100% by the end of the quarter.  Thee outstanding readershave already earned the end of the quarter pizza party for reaching 100% of their AR point goal:  Way to go!
