11-14-12 Daily Update

Parents,

Just a reminder that your child has a Science test tomorrow.  I received a couple e-mails yesterday from parents asking where the measurement lines were for the practice test.  These were in a packet of review and extra credit papers that I sent home on Monday with the students.  I put a link on Moodle that includes this file just in case your child has misplaced it.

Many students are running low on school supplies.  Many need more pencils, glue, glue sticks, or erasers.  Some do not have red pens or highlighters which we use frequently.  Please ask your child if they are in need of any of these items.  All of these items can also be purchased at the school store.  Thank you.

Reminders:

• Math challenge slips can be completed each day for prizes from the office
• Turn in recorder $ or bring in one from home
• Bring in Canned goods for food drive starting Nov. 12
• Nov. 16 - Team Spirit Day  Wear you favorite team colors

Finish Pilgrim and Wampanoag poster (Remember to color your illustrations nicely!)

Reading:  

Read your AR book for 15-20 minutes each night

AR Goal for Friday, Nov. 16 is 32%

Social Studies:  

Test over Unit 1 is Monday, Nov. 19.  Review pages 54-55 in book.

Science: 

Test over Measurement is Thurs. Nov. 15
A Review test can be completed at home on Moodle for practice.

Math:   

None.

Spelling:  

Unit 2 Review Test is Tues, Nov. 20 (note changed date!)
