12-6-12 Daily Update

Parents,

Students were able to complete their Secret Santa shopping today.  They were excited to buy gifts for you and other family members.

In Reading, students are learning about the author and illustrator, Chris Van Allsburg.  He is the creator of many great picture books including Jumanji, Polar Express, and Zathura that have been adapted as movies you may know.  Up until Christmas break, students will be reading more of his stories and then completing questions and activities to go along with each.

Reminders:

• Scholastic Book orders should be turned in by Friday (check) or ordered online by Saturday.
• Secret Santa - Thursday, December 6 at 2:00
• Treat Shop (make) Tues, Dec. 11
• Treat Shop (buy and sell) Wed. Dec. 12
