5-28-13 Daily Update

Parents,

Bike/Helmet.  If your child does not have a helmet or a bike for Bike Hike, please contact me as soon as possible.  If a student has a need, we may be able to donate/lend one for some students.

Bike Hike.  Here are some things to do/consider before Friday:

1) buy/apply mosquito/tick spray

2) buy/apply sun screen

3) inflate bike tires

4)  Put on bike helmet and make sure it is adjusted properly

5)  Check that gears, handle bars, and brakes on bike function properly

6)  Water bottle cage for bike and water bottle (bottles can't be held or dangled from the bike by straps)

Reminders:

• Make sure your child has a well-fitted bike helmet before Bike Hike.
• Bike Hike - May 31st
