- Several students do not have ear phones/buds. We use these a lot with the ipads/laptops for listening to stories, spelling city.com and other things. These students did not bring in this supply: Logan, Alex, Alexa, Kyle, Davin (has them but for some reason they don't work)
- We finished reading Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing today. It is a classic story by Judy Blume. Ask your child about their favorite part of the book. The AR test for the book gave all of the students a boost with their AR percentage. As I said yesterday, however, each child needs to read and finish books on their own at home to be assured to reach their weekly goals. For the next few weeks we will read from our reading textbook, so home reading will be essential to earn those AR points.
- I have linked some videos from Moodle Math:Topic 1 Place Value that may help your child if he/she is having difficulty with concepts of place value.
- See my separate e-mail about our September Scholastic Book order. Paper copies of 3 book order forms went home today
