Parents,
A flyer went home today about pre-sales of tickets for the Birthday bash on Friday.
Don't forget to have your child bring a packed lunch tomorrow for our field trip. Please help your child dress appropriately for the weather tomorrow. It is supposed to be chance of showers and 60's most of the day.
Chaperones-
You are welcome to follow the buses at 9:30 or meet us at the park around 9:45 or so. You will need to purchase your tickets for the canal at the ticket booth across the bridge from the parking area when you arrive. I think they are $6. We will be traveling as a group throughout the day, but there will be times when I may need a parent to take a group to the restroom our through a part of the mill.
Reminders:
- Last chance to send in any donations for "Backyard BBQ" theme for basket raffle in tomorrow.
- Tomorrow is the trip to the Canal and Mill at Providence Metropark. Remember to pack a lunch as we will eat at the park. Students can earn extra credit in Social Studies if they dress in any kind of "Pioneer"-style clothing. (Think: flannel shirts, jeans, rope belts, suspenders, floppy hats, bandanas, dresses, bonnets, etc...). This really adds to the fun of the experience as we imagine living in the 1800's.
- The Whitehouse Primary Birthday Bash is Friday, October 5 from 5-9 PM. As I understand it, his is going to be a carnival-like event at school with lots of fun activities (laser tag, bounce houses, games etc...). It should be a great time!
- Sign and return midterm by Tuesday. (Still needed from Logan and Alex)
