10-26-12 Daily Updates

Parents,

Ask your child about the owl pellet activity that we completed today.  Students "dissected" the pellet of owl regurgitation (its not as gross as it sounds) and sorted the bones to get a better idea about the animal that an owl ate.  Many students did a great job classifying all of the bones.  If you are brave, you ask your child to sing you the owl pellet song ,too. 

Thank you for all of the yummy treats and treat bag items donated for the Fall party today.  The party committee did a great job organizing activities today. The party was a lot of fun!

Reminders:

• Grade cards will go home next Wed, October 31.
• Class Pizza Party (for those students that met their AR goal) will be Wednesday, October 31.
• Conferences are Thursday, November 1 and Monday, November 5.  See my previous e-mail for times.
