Birthday Treats. Feel free to have your child bring in a birthday treat on or near their birthday if you like. Please keep in mind, however, that I do not have a fully stocked kitchen in my classroom so please send napkins and something to cut or serve the treat if it is needed. Better yet, keep it simple. Cookies, pre-cut brownies, and rice crispy treats make good simple options.
Language Quiz. Students had a take home quiz over plural nouns for homework on Monday. Most students did really well on this, but some did not. Those who earned a C or less (81%) were asked to Correct and Return (CAR) this paper for homework tonight to raise this grade. Corrections should be done on loose leaf paper.
