A couple things that might be fun to discuss with your child today. Ask them about making globes in Social Studies. Ask them about how we do "Math stations" on Thursdays using the iPads.
Students now have the ability to log-in to to a school google account. This will enable each child to have access to inter school e-mail (nothing outside of their school peers and school staff), an google apps such as google docs. Each child tried logging into this account today and was supposed to send me an e-mail to see if they could get it to work. Students can access this AW google account here:
I will be replying to each e-mail that I received just to test how it works. A few students were out of the room or had trouble logging in for one reason or another, but most were successful. Students can log in with this info:
un: lastname_firstname
pw: aw + 6 digit lunch code (ex. aw123456)
Have your child give it a try from home.
Reminders:
- Scholastic book orders will be due Sep 21. Online orders or sending a check are fine.
- Movie night forms can be turned in this week. The movie is "The Lorax"
